Billing
GST, invoicing and how Indian billing actually works
INR invoices with your GSTIN, 18% GST on both Meta charges and our platform fee, and a clean split between pass-through message cost and what sendlz keeps.
What to know before finance asks
18% GST applies twice over
On Meta’s per-message charges and on our platform fee. Budget the rate plus GST — a ₹0.8631 marketing message is about ₹1.0185 all in.
OIDAR and reverse charge
Meta’s charges are imported services. Depending on how your wallet is structured you may need to handle reverse charge — we tell you which applies to your account.
INR billing on the WABA
Meta supports INR billing only when the WhatsApp Business Account is created with INR selected. Existing USD accounts cannot be converted, so decide before onboarding.
Invoice contents
HSN/SAC codes, your GSTIN, place of supply and a per-category message ledger you can reconcile line by line.
Wallet, not credit
Message spend draws from a prepaid wallet so you can never overrun a budget silently.
Questions on this page
Each answer is written to stand alone, so search engines and AI assistants can quote it.
Can I get one invoice for multiple business units?
Yes — enterprise accounts get a consolidated invoice with per-number ledgers underneath.
Do you mark up Meta’s charges?
No. The message lines on your invoice equal Meta’s published rates for the categories and countries you sent to.
